Welcome to Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust

I am delighted to welcome you to our website. We exist to provide an exceptional education for every student, every day; driven by our values of love, service, humility and our Catholic faith.

We are a Catholic family of 7 schools (6 primaries and 1 secondary), educating more than 3,500 students (3,523), employing almost 700 staff (686), serving the London Boroughs of Merton, Sutton, Lambeth, and parts of Croydon. 

Our first schools: Ursuline High School, St Elphege’s Infants, St Elphege’s Juniors, Regina Coeli, and St John Fisher joined in February 2025, and St Aidan’s and St Cecilia’s joined in December 2025. 

Sancta Familia is a new yet high performing Trust - every key performance measure is significantly above local and national averages: 

• Expected standard at KS2 is 19% above national 
• 5+ in English and Maths at GCSE is 20% above national 
• A*-B at A level is 7% above national 
• Distinction* to Merit at T-Level is 18% above national 
• Primary attendance was 0.5% above national 
• Secondary attendance was 2.7% above national

We are in strong financial health. The CEO and CFO review all accounts each month and these are shared with Directors and followed up with in-person meetings with Headteachers and School Business Managers. In addition, finances are scrutinised each half-term by the Finance and Audit Committee, each term by the Trust board, and annually as part of our external audit. 

It is an absolute privilege to lead our Trust and realise our Archbishop’s vision for Sancta Familia to grow to a family of around 30 schools - driving the Catholic life and education of the students, staff, and families of South London.
