Alain is a business leader with over 25 years’ experience in international commercial strategy, growth, and leadership across technology, travel, and sport. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Elite Women Rugby Community (EWRC), a global platform and professional competition designed to advance women’s rugby and create sustainable opportunities for athletes. 

Prior to this, Alain held senior leadership roles at organisations including SAP Concur, American Express Business Travel, and SilverRail Technologies, where he led international expansion, partnership development, and large-scale commercial growth initiatives across Europe, North America, and other global markets. He has a strong track record of building high-performing teams, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in complex and evolving environments. 

Alain also brings governance experience through his involvement in both corporate and community organisations, including serving as Vice Chair of Governors at St John Fisher Primary School and contributing to parish finance committees. He has three children and has a strong personal interest in sport, reflecting his belief in its role in development, wellbeing, and community.
