Mary O'Keeffe

Having spent 25 years in Catholic education, including nine years as Headteacher of a large Jesuit comprehensive school in North London, Mary O’Keeffe is an experienced educational leader. 

During her headship, she led the school to achieve an Outstanding Ofsted judgement in February 2025, reflecting sustained improvements in academic outcomes, leadership, safeguarding, and pastoral provision. She has extensive experience of working closely with governing bodies and diocesan partners, developing strong expertise in accountability, school improvement planning, financial oversight, safeguarding, and curriculum and leadership development. She has a secure understanding of compliance and inspection frameworks. Now recently retired from headship, she is keen to contribute her experience, insight, and strategic perspective to a trustee role.

Mary has four children and five grandchildren.
