English (Primary) Trust Lead

Over 20 years of teaching, I developed a love of teaching English through seeing children's love of great stories and wonderful texts. This inspired me to become an English Subject Lead and I have worked in this role in a number of schools and in St Elphege's for the last 8 years, where I continue to work as Assistant Head and Class Teacher. It is a great privilege for me to undertake the role of Primary English Lead and look forward to establishing a supportive and productive network of English Subject Leads across our primary schools.
